A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I’m a graphic designer by trade.

2. Why do you make art?

I feel a compulsion to blur the lines between fine art and design.

3. What inspires you?

The lines and colors in nature.

4. What/who are your influences?

The iconic works that came from Milton Glaser’s Push Pin Studio, the wackiness and colors of Rousseau’s work, and the movement in Matisse’s later work.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

I guess Henri Matisse. It would be nice to talk to someone with so many ideas that nothing could stop them from creating.
